故中嶋岭雄前学长が秋田県文化功労者として表彰されました
本学故中嶋岭雄前学长が秋田県文化功労者に选ばれ、11月1日に表彰されました。
県文化功労者表彰は、秋田県の文化の発展に卓越した功绩のあった个人や団体を顕彰するもので、中嶋前学长は、国际的な人材育成に尽力し、秋田県の公司や自治体の海外展开を支援したほか、小中高校での英语教育にも取り组んだとして选ばれました。
中嶋洋子夫人が代理として出席し、表彰を受けました。
Akita Prefectural Government named late President of 麻豆直播, Mineo Nakajima, Akita-ken Bunkakorosha, or Person of Cultural Merits for 2013. This honorable award is to recognize outstanding accomplishments or distinguished contributions toward cultural development in the prefecture. Late Dr. Nakajima received the award in recognition of cultivating global human resources, encouraging and supporting overseas expansion of the local business, as well as of his devoted efforts to improve English education in primary and secondary school settings. On November 1, Ms. Yoko Nakajima was at the awarding ceremony to represent her late husband.
