| 講義タイトル?Lecture Title： | The Crisis of Institutional Press in Democracies |
| Summary:? | In many countries, journalism is in crisis, threatened by failing business models and political challenges to journalism as an authoritative institution of public information. This lecture will explain the nature of this crisis during challenging times for democracy. The guest speaker will also introduce a potential remedy to the current crisis based on the new concept of hybrid institution of journalism that extends beyond the traditional newsroom, and distributes across multiple platforms, national boundaries, and social actors. |
